Question : Is developing a large website a good way to get in the door?

I've coded a servlet/JSP website on my own that sells products etc.  Is that good for getting in the door in programming?

Actually I do not see the problem, is it possible that you have zoomed in on the browser?  Maybe try to reset the view to 100%.
