Question : Sharing Outlook Contacts in a non-Exchange environment

I realize that the easiest way to share Outlook contacts is through exchange but that is not on the table right now.  I also realize that there are third-party apps that allow a pst file to be shared among members of a workgroup.

What I am looking for is a shortlist of these third-party apps that are (hopefully) recommended by Microsoft.  Some of these apps can cost upto $120 per license and thats OK if it works.  I just don't want to go through motions of paying for and installing something that I will regret later.

Our current environment is Vista/Windows 7 with Outlook 2007.

Thanks in advance.

Answer : Sharing Outlook Contacts in a non-Exchange environment

Open the properties of the heartbeat NIC on all cluster nodes, go to the Advanced settings of the TCP/IP protocol, and uncheck "Register this connection in DNS" in the DNS tab.
While you're configuring the heartbeat NIC, disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP in the WINS tab, and unbind "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" from this NIC, too; the heartbeat requires only TCP/IP.
