Question : VBS Script Assistance

Hi All,

I am looking for assistance with a script, basically I need someone to make it for me as I do not have the skills to do it myself.

The script I would like would be able to list the shares on a server and save a text file for each share found using the sharename.txt to a folder C:\Shares, the group or users listed having permission to access that windows share would be listed in the text file.

I hope this is easy to achieve and I would appreciate any assistance I can get.

Thanks

Answer : VBS Script Assistance

RSS is a specialized subset of XML.  Good description here:

Since it is XML, you can access the information in the RSS feed with SimpleXML; example in the code snippet.  If you have several RSS feeds, you would just read them one at a time and extract the elements of the object you want to keep.  Then produce the <div> statements.  Easy!

best regards, ~Ray
