Question : Speedtouch static ip address to a cisco 506 pix

I am trying to configure a speedtouch 546 idsn for static ip addresses in the setup of the speedtouch I go to custom setup and entre the IP address of the router **.131.250.14 and the network address of **.131,250.8 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.248 which gives me the 5 IP addresses I have been given by the ISP provider, my problem lies in: I want the pix to use the IP address of **.131.250.9 and from the Pix I can ping this address, the speedtouch internal ip address is the default 192.168.1.254 how do I assign the **.131.250.9 in the speedtouch setup to give that ip address to the Pix

Hi,

You need to set to Bridge mode the modem!
And you need to set the PIX to pppoe mode:
