Question : VB Macro recorder function

I am trying to create a macro recording function for a program I have.  The result being that a user can start the recorder, it will then take the user inputs (which forms,buttons and comboboxes are clicked on, along with input from the keyboard.  The user then clicks a stop recording button and a button is added which will run the macro.

Obviously if I google visual basic macro recorder it comes up with the vba one.

There are windows macro recorders that would record you screen steps and you might be able to use this for your program.  Not sure how good they are though
