Question : Unable to send mail
Hi,
I have Outlook 2007 running on Windows 7. All available updates for both programs are installed. A curious situation developed today when I was unable to send email. The usual suspects are not in play, as the smtp server is functioning (others in my company using the server are sending mail just fine), there are no error messages in Outlook when attempting to send (I checked in the lower right corner for messages), and check out this symptom: When messages would not go out, and remained in the Outbox, I cleaned it out. In the course of trying to resolve this problem, I found that if I leave one message stuck in the Outbox, all other messasges will go out. If I remove that last remaining stuck message, then all messages get stuck in the Outbox again. I've never seen anything like this.
I am running ScanPST, but it will take awhile as the PST file is several GBs in size (and yes I archive on regular basis). Anyone else ever seen this and have any advice?
Thanks!
Answer : Unable to send mail
Did you run ssh-keygen as the ftpuser?
You should probably also try to use DSA keys rather than RSA, as some ssh configs might have RSA key support disabled.
