Question : vmware player shows black screen on win 2003 server

I have a XP pro image which I played on XP pro host using vmware player. Now I have installed vmware player on win 2003 server and when I start the xp pro image, I get a black screen. I rebooted computer and logged in as administrator.

Any clue what might be the cause?

What SCSI device are you running this VM on on your XP box? You may need to change it for the 2K3 box (LSI Logic).
