Question : SBS 2008 shared folder permissions problem - read only - need full control

I am setting up SBS 2008 and have encountered a problem sharing my folders.
The apps using the folders require full control on the odd SBS 2003 server, otherwise we run into problems.
The folders I have set up and shared on the console seem to just give the users 'read only' permissions. I am struggling to change this to full control as it says I do not have permission.

The current owner appears to be "Administrators"
When I try to change this to SBS Admin that was set up on installation, I get the message
Unable to set the owner. Access is denied.

been reading up some more on this, I tried the Share & Storage Management Snap - In.
My Share permissions were correct, but when I checked the NTFS permissions, I could see the problem listed above about the Users not having Full Control so I tried selecting the relevant folders and amending the permissions and it has worked this time!
Not sure why I could not do it previously.
