Answer : Why shouldn’t I change a SQL Server service account using the services applet?

|
Changing the service account using SQL Server Configuration Manager
will assign all the file system permissions and advanced user rights
needed for SQL Server to work properly. Using the services applet won’t
do this and could cause problems when the service is next started.
