Question : Having issues converting Physical ISA server to Virtual Server
Hello Experts,
I am hoping to get some input that would allow me to resolve my issue.
I am attempting to P2V an ISA Server on our internal network. We have done many conversions over the last 2 months with no issues. We are using VMware converter to do the conversions. The Conversions fails, and I believe it is caused by isa not allowing the necessary traffic/ ports needed.
Does anyone have any input on this?
Thanks You!
Answer : Having issues converting Physical ISA server to Virtual Server
The best option would be to do it after office hours.
Use either Acronis True Image, Norton Ghost or StorageCraft Shadow Protect to clone the physical ISA Server and then use the VMware vConverter to convert the resulting file to a Virtual Machine.
