Question : laptop display problems

Laptop was dropped on it's corner.  Screen was black, so we replaced.  Now its on and full color, except it's has flashing lines going through it, screen flickers and white pixels snowing around. Replaced inverter.  This has made it better.  Still a faint "white noise" sort of thing with an occasional sporadic freak out of white horizontal lines and jitters.  Tends to settle down when there is no movement on the screen, or idle.  Note, video out to an external monitor is flawless, none of these symptoms.

Answer : laptop display problems

Unfortunately the only way you are going to solve this is by swapping out components. There is just no other way to determine the problem. It is either the LCD panel, cable or the motherboard.
