Question : Terminal Server client side CD/DVD writing

I am thinking of converting to a thin client setup using Terminal Servers and either Thin Client devices or a Linux based CD/Network boot thinclient (I have be experimenting with ThinStation).

The users need to write to local CD/DVD drives.  Users also need to be able to access local USB flash/thumb drives.

Also, some users need to SCAN from locally connected USB scanner or share out a local USB connected printer.

With ThinStation I can get access to to USB flash drives, and read CD/DVD drives, but writing to CD/DVD is not working.

Answer : Terminal Server client side CD/DVD writing

Has anyone tried making a Windows PE boot CD?  I was thinking about this route but the Windows PE is slow to boot from CD, but I think it should support some CD writing.

Anyways, Thanks for the input.
