Question : activesync error 0x85010004

Already tried a few hings, including http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817379 to no avail.

Forms based authentication is not enabled, and to my knowledge has never been enabled.

SSL is not required on the default website either, there's no cert, self-signed or other.

any ideas?

Exchange 2003 SP2 , just single exchange server - standard server

Please have a read of my Exchange 2003 / activesync article.  The error you are getting is I cannot find something.

My article should get you up and running and adding an SSL certificate is a good idea for security and they can be bought very cheaply from GoDaddy for about $30.
