Question : Exchange 2007 mail relay

I have an application server that requires a mail relay so that we can email from that app. What is the best way to accomplish this? I know that a new receive connector needs to be created but I am not sure what settings, local network settings, FQDN, and remote IP should be set at. Lets say that the app server in question has an ip of 192.168.0.5.

Look at section 4.9. I had not disabled or tried joining the network with a hard wired connection. I originally joined it with a wireless connection and apparently it did not cache the credentials correctly.
