Question : cisco 4500 connect to red hat 5.5 linux pc

i have a red hat connect to my 4500 with giga interface
the problem is that the  red hat can't see a link connectivity
if a config a 1000MB no NEGOTIATION on the red hat and the same on the cisco it is sill not work

i solved the problem when i configure a delay 3 SEC on the red hat and that way it got a link !
but how can i solve this just change configs in the 4500 cisco giga interface only ?!

Answer : cisco 4500 connect to red hat 5.5 linux pc

. Only on module 4.
And we found difference is on flowcontrol which turned off on module 4 , but we can’t turn it off on module 6 for example.
