Question : Ethernet Network Connection Disables itself After Reboot (BOOTCAMP)

Hi All,

I have an issue with Bootcamp running on a Mac Mini, where if a user boots into OS X then restarts the machine, chooses to boot into Windows, the network card isn't recognised at all. The only way around this is if we boot back into OS X again, enable the Ethernet network connection and then restart

Weird I know! It seems as if the initial restart knocks off the network connection somehow. If anyone has any insight into why this is happening please?

It's a Mac in a working environment so a) I need this fixed asap b) I can only test/give more info in work hours (GMT, UK here)

Thanks :)

Yes and Yes.  But if you are only going to have two NICs, I would use one for the mgmt interface and one for VM traffic.

Easy to set that up.  Go to http://www.dabcc.com/Webster and look for Part 2 of my Learning the Basics of XA5 and XS 5.5 series.  I show how to do that in that article.
