Question : how to truncate the transaction logs in exchange 2010 after NT backup
how to truncate the transaction logs in exchange 2010 after NT backup..
1. we have configured NT backup in exchange 2010 exchange server
2. We have DAG configured to have 2 passive copies in other servers.
3. All servers are running on Windows 2008 R2 version & we have enabled VSS Full copy option in NT backup.
4. after the successful backyup, transaction logs are not getting truncated.
Please advice us on how can we configure the backup to truncate the logs when the bckup completes successfully.

when you enable circular logging and restart the information store all the old log files will be deleted.
it will just take to a lot of time for the information store to start since it will be deleting log files this is expected just wait for it
