Question : pivot table table problem...

We would like to change a value in the excel table on excel 2007but we get the following error " Cannot change this part of a Pivot Table Report,please see attached file..for example we want to change the value 10 to any number in cell..is it possible to change the value to any value in excel pivot table?

Hi,
No it is not possible. The reason being that pivottables are only representing a "layout view" of data existing somewhere else. It can be based on a range in the workbook, another workbook, a database and so on.

So in short; no it is not possible. You need to figure out where the underlying data are placed and then change the data there if feasible.
