Question : VMWare or Hyper-V
Hi
We are looking to implement the following:
1 x Exchange 2010 server (CAS / MBX / HT)
1 x DOMAIN Controller
1 x Remote Desktop Services server
we plan to virtualizes these three servers on a single box. what are your recommendations VMware or Hyper-v?
Pros and Cons
Thanks in advance
Answer : VMWare or Hyper-V
Pros:
ESXi has a small footprint
It is easily managed via the vsphere client
You will not need to restart every month for 'patch Tuesday'
Cons:
It is a little different to Windows Hyper-V, but not so much to make it difficult to use
