Question : Make an Exception to Folder Redirect Group Policy Rule
Hello All,
We recently installed a new Windows 2008 R2 server. We put in a rule in the user GP that both the Documents and Desktop of each user would be redirected to the server. We have had too many people losing information, and storing "current projects" on their desktop, only to freak out when they are not backed up and their computer crashes. This is working great when users have one computer, except that I now have a user that has both a desktop with a HUGE screen, and a tiny laptop. Is there anyway to except the laptop from the redirect rule? The desktop is XP and the laptop is Win7.
