Question : How to open .BMP file with Internet Explorer in Windows XP OS.

Hello experts,

I am trying to get my computer to open a .BMP image with Windows Internet Explorer.  IE 8.0 I have installed, and am running Windows XP.  

Basically, I right click and choose Open With and click the box to "Always use this program" and then Internet Explorer opens, but then immediately closes and MS Paint opens and brings up the image.  

Is there a plugin for this?
