Question : Exit Ctrl+Alt+F2

If I press Ctrl+Alt+F2, say, it loads up a fullscreen text interface. How do I then exit this screen? Typing 'exit' or 'quit' etc does nothing, and I couldn't find any control sequences. I THINK it rebooted after hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del, but is there a way to exit without rebooting?

Ctrl-Alt-F7 or Ctrl-Alt-F8 will return you to graphics
