Question : classic asp fastest recordset in coding

I used stored procedure as data source for my classic asp 3.0 and the recordcount is around
1000 rows. It is now very slow even I use pagesize in recordset.

I hope the experts can teach me advanced coding in recordset and make the loading time shorter. Coding example shown will have 500 pts for sure.
