Question : Apple Mail - Find local Exchange email after changing accounts?

We just switched over an Apple Mail (Snow Leopard) user from one Exchange system to another. Apparently his sent items were being stored locally. Where everything else was on the server. Any insight on where this info was kept on the system and how to get it back?

of course you can always go into your home folder and then go to libraries\mail and search manually.
