Question : Walkie-Talkie recommendations

After "Googling" this until I'm cross-eyed, I am doing what I should have done in the first place.

Based on your personal experience, what exact Brand/Model would you recommend?
The distances involved are only about 2 miles - but include hills and trees to interfere.
