Question : SBS capabilities with 50 user firm

I have a client with about 50 users with no expansion in the near future. They are currently using Server 2003 and a member 2003 exchange server. They recently had a failure in the spam hardware and it freaked them out when the email went sideways. They want to be reassured they won't have this kind of crisis in the future. I suggested redundancy etc. The cost of that would be enormous. One option is to consolidate several servers into an SBS server. Cna this be done with a firm of 50 users and still be reliable etc. Another option was hosting the exchange at Sherweb or similar company.
Thanks a million.

Answer : SBS capabilities with 50 user firm

a) You cant have 2 SBS servers in a domain.

What you can do this - take a look at these products

http://www.doubletake.com/english/products/sbs-edition/Pages/default.aspx

http://www.heroware.com/

This product replicates everything to cloud, so you have high-availability written all over it. If exchange goes down - user's can be asked to go to the cloud and still get all their mails.

i havent used this product myself.

Hope this helps.
