Question : Help with Vista re-installation

I been handed the directors sons Windows Vista laptop with lots of virus's.  Ive come to the conclusion that a re-install is required.  This is where i at the moment:  We dont have any recovery disk, any Windows Vista installation media or a option within windows to create recovery CD's.  I can see there is a hidden partion (viewed through device manager) which i guess is where the recovery software is located but i cant figure out a way to view the contents.

Any help in re-installing vista on this machine?

Also, i found this link on ehow but i cant find software.  http://www.ehow.com/how_5531573_restore-windows-toshiba-laptop-computer.html

Answer : Help with Vista re-installation

Well, both the manual (which I downloaded) and the tech support page linked to above say you can access the recovery partition by holding the zero key, pressing the power button, and releasing the zero key when the system beeps at you.

Have you tried it several times?    (It may be "touchy" as to just when you press the zero key.
