Question : windows 2008 Domain controller for 200 AD
Hi
my windows domain is windows 2000 and forrest functional level also 2000 , I have installed windwos 2008 server as Domain controller and its in a remote site.
I have bought a Windows 2008 R2 server recently and trying to make a Domain controller it advice "you mus prepate the foreest using adprep /forestprep , the adprep is available on windows 2008 R support\adprep folder.
i am sure i had run this before i installed my first 2008 DC and i thought it shouldnt need to run for second domain ? any one has come up this issue or any help with this?

Also, if you are updating the schema on a 32-bit DC you must run adprep32 from the R2 DVD.
