Question : OWA Text Box Issue with IE8/Win7

I'm having an issue typing int the text box using OWA with IE8 and Win7. I usually recieve two pop up notificaitons when I try to compose an email with OWA and IE8 I don't recieve that and therfore don't have the option to type into a text box with I compose or reply to a message. I have popups enabled and have added the OWA site to my trusted zones but that does not help. There must be some setting that I need to enable or disable. Please help. --see screenshot
