Question : How do I allow users on SBS 2008 to install programs?

We're running Windows Small Business Server 2008 in our office, and right now it gives a permissions error when a user tries to do something as simple as install a browser plug-in. I don't want to open the floodgates of security, but I'd like users to be able to manage things like this on their own without making them all Administrators.

Thanks in advance. I've been tasked with overseeing this server, but my experience is fairly limited except on simpler maintenance.

Answer : How do I allow users on SBS 2008 to install programs?

In the SBS Console go to "Users and Groups", double-click on a user to get the properties page, then under Computers select the computer you want to change permissions for and then just change the Access Level from Standard User to Local Administrator. This way you can give each user permissions only for specific workstations.
