Question : How to remove cached domain user credentials - Workgroup'd XP Pro
We have a Windows 2003 domain (AD). We have one user who's laptop is not a member of the domain (or any domain for that matter...just with a "workgroup" config). I do have a user account created for him on the server, so that when he needs to access a network share, he can use his domain user credentials. The first time he accessed a network location, he put in his credentials and checked the save password box I believe. Ever since, he never has been prompted to use his credentials again. How do I force the computer to not save his credentials and force it to ask for them again when he wants to access a network share?
We have a new domain and servers (still W2K3), and even though I kept the same domain name and re-created his same user account and password, all the directory "rights" I have assigned his user do not work.
