Question : sbs 2003 server cannot receive email

Hi..

i have a customer who had an issue in sbs (unrelated to email) .. they proceeded to change some settings in iis and maybe in other places a s well... i cant be sure!!!!!!!!!!!

since this was done they oas t access to owa (interally and externally)and alos cannot receive email.  

whne they went in to webmail they got a blsn page with a timeout messgae.  i managed to get this back buy comparing settings with another server and now the owa login page appears but i cannot actually login (the username and password are correct)

regarfing actaully receiving email, i can telnet to the server on port 25 both internally and externally....how when i send en email in to the customer i will get a boune back after a few minutes ... i have pasrted a bounceback i receive when using gmail to send a test..

Sugar CRM stack installer ?
Sugar CRM has 2 stack installers - one with Apache - the second one with IIS

which one are you running ?

Do this

go to
start>run

type
inetmgr

Expand Server_name
- websites
- Under Default Website >> are there any other entries like Sugar CRM ?

Also check the application pool above.

IF NO.
then you can go ahead and reset IIS with metabase explorer.

IF YES >> THEN DONT.
