Question : I am trying to run a virtual image off of vmware player and I keep getting an error.

The error I keep getting is "Not enough physical memory is available to power on this virtual machine with its comfigured settings.
If tou were able to power on this virtual machine on the hist computer in the past, try rebooting the host computer. Rebooting may allow you to use slightly more host memory to run virtual machines."

Ive tried it on two different computers, and I keep getting the same error. Ive tried running the virtual image on a 32-bit windows 7 OS and also a 64-bit Vista Pro operating system. Do I need a certian processor for the virtual image to run, or more memory?

Answer : I am trying to run a virtual image off of vmware player and I keep getting an error.

How much memory has computer you tried to run virtual machine on? How much memory you specified for virtual machine?

Maybe memory compsuntion is high due to programs running and therefore vm cannot assign memory specified by you.

Also you can try to lower memory usage of virtual machine in Menu > Edit > Prferences > Memory (or edit .vmx file in notepad) and see if it boots up.
