Question : PC restarts randomly

Hello Experts,
I'm having this issue with my desktop PC (Core i7 920, Corsair 6GB DDR3 1600, Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5, Antec TPQ 850W, ATI HD 4890, Samsung 500GB HDD, windows 7 Home premium 32-bit) where for some reason it restarts itself randomly.

I've done the following checks...
1.0 (Memory) Memtest86 - run it thrice already at 8 hours average and shows no error or problem.
2.0 CPU Temp -  averages between 55-65 Cand running at stock speed.
3.0 HDD - Run SEATOOLS test and no problem found.
4.0 PSU - Used my PSU on the other machine and no restart issue.
5.0 OS - Have installed and reinstalled WIndows7 four times already but the problems still persist.
            - Event viewer doesn't have anything everytime the random restart occurs.
6.0 MoBo - BIOS and optimal state on a defrault settingts. No overclock settings.
7.0 GPU - Issue occurs irregardless of using an older or latest version of Catalyst driver.

Have been experiencing this issue for awhile and somehow got frustrated cozi could not determine the cause. Is there any check i missed or any suggestion what else to try?

Answer : PC restarts randomly

Check the mobo for bad capacitors, bulged out or leaking capacitors can cause an issue such as yours. Try removing hardware devices that are connected to the computer (unplug everything except for the power cord, monitor signal cable, keyboard and mouse).  If it still keeps rebooting try a known good keyboard and mouse from another system. Still no changes in symptoms? then try removing any pci cards, disconnect the optical drives, .... then test. Still have issue disconect the hdd as well. If it boots to the post screen without shutting down, then leave it on the error screen that says no operating system found. See if it will reboot. If it is still rebooting then swap memory with known good memory from another system. Try reseating the power cables to the mobo. If it still happens after doing all these things and you swapped the system with a new powersupply then you know you either have a problem with the CPU or the mobo.
