Question : How to enable VSS Writer for Exchange 2003 and SQL 2005

How do I enable VSS writer for Exchange 2003 and SQL 2005?  I read that I need the below registry key and it's value set to 0, however, I don't have this registry key in my registry.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem\Disable Exchange Writer
