Question : HOW TO: remove the Anonymous User from the Everyone Group....

A part of the PCI-DSS Compliance stuff....

The last problem that my scan is showing is that the anonymous user is a part of the everyone group.  My PC I started the scan from is XP and the server is a SBS 2003.

Everything I have seen says that the Anonymous user is not a part of the Everyone group anymore, but the scan keeps telling me it is on my computer....

How can I fix this??

Answer : HOW TO: remove the Anonymous User from the Everyone Group....

The key isn't there because you are on Windows XP SP2 or above. As stated earlier, any versions of Windows after XP SP2 exclude the Anonymous user from the Everyone group by default. This also suggests that the Compliance scanner is returning a false positive.
