Question : restore from windows server backup and cannot run OS because of missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe
my windows small business server is down and I have to re-install a OS and get backup of C: and system status to try to make the server up to run. But after I install the basic OS and using windows backup to restore the c: and system status with original location and overwrite existing files, the windows cannot boot up because of missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe. I look into my windows .bkf file and do not see the file is backed up. Please help me for this case. Thank you very much.
Answer : restore from windows server backup and cannot run OS because of missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe
No Proxy, tried the winsock reset, turned off firewall, removed card, nothing,
I had to reinstall. Thanks for the comments.
