Question : TS users access maping folders in windows 2008 slow
One of my clients have two servers, one is windows 2008 R2 64 bit standard as DC and windows 2003 TS as member server. After domain users logon 2003 TS and browser mapping shared folders in 2008, in the begging, it is normal. After you try to browse more on the shared folders, it is very slow. It may take a few minutes to open the shared folders. Or you have a black screen on the windows explorer. If you wait for a few minutes, you may be able to browse them again, but the then the problem comes back. When the windows explorer is freezing, you still able to do other thing on the TS as normal.
What I have done:
On the windows 2003, I upgraded the Video and NIC driver, and clean boot.
On the windows 2008, I did
> Disable receive-side scaling
> Disable chimney offload state
> Disable receive window auto tuning
> Disable offloading in the network adapter properties
> Disable IPv6 in the network adapter
Netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled
clean boot.
Any suggestions?

I fixed it by enabling classic shell. The details can be found here: DFS causing Windows explorer to hang on Terminal server -
