Question : exchange 2010 are email addresses case sensitive?

Hi all,

i sent a test message to my hotmail account it was sent from
[email protected]rg then i replied to it and it was sent to [email protected]rg the message then got a postmaster delivery at hotmail, with no details other than

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
 
Delivery to the following recipients failed.
 
       [email protected]rg

are the email address policies case sensitive becuase i cant add a lowercase address to it

ive just installed forefront protection 2010 on the server too if that might help?

emails are not case sensitive, I would say the check the email address in hotmail and mx records config and make sure that you have accepted domain configured
