Question : Just installed SQL Server 2005, but no instance appears
Hello - I had SS 2000 installed on my laptop, and I just installed 2005, but no new folder/instance appears under Program Files\MS SQL Server. In the past, it made another folder
The only problem with the installation was a warning message that IIS was not installed (which it wasn't), and so IIS-related features would not be available; install IIS, then re-run setup (which I did). But still no new instance.
I was able to connect to the 2000 instance with Management Studio
Can anybody set me straight on this?
Thanks
