Question : System DSN doesn't show in Excel
Typically, we add System DSN's to connect to our SQL Server. The new DSN's populate on our Data Source list for excel and crystal reports. However, for a few of our new computers, when we add a DSN, it doesn't show on the choose data source lists. Furthermore, when we delete the data sources that were on the list, it doesn't remove it.
This issue seems to only happen on Windows 7 and Server 2008 OS's.

Answer : System DSN doesn't show in Excel
Are we talking about 64bit OS? If so, you need to use the 32bit-ODBC Administrator tool, which is %windir%\syswow64\odbcad32
.exe.
