Question : When the same MS Word 2007 Application runs on different machines, Forms on one machine may have darker shades of gray than on another. Why?
An MS Word 2007 application with a number of forms has been distributed to a number of machines. The gray colors in the forms behaves in ways I don't understand.
For example, the light gray "System Button Face" color of &H8000000F& on the development machine is rendered as a noticeable darker color on when run on a second machine. It is still identified as "System Button Face" color of &H8000000F& on the second machine.
However, the light gray "Palette" color of &H00E0E0E0& on the development machine (which as far as I can determine is the same color as &H8000000F&) is rendered as the same color on when run on a second machine.
Is there some way (maybe by setting defaults) that I can be sure that the colors on the development machine forms can be propagated accurately to other machines without looping through every Form and Control associated with the application to assign them Palette colors?

The colour display schemes in XP are reached via the 'Personalization' and are now part of 'Themes'
