Question : Any software that can send files over the Internet with drag and drop?

I very often send files to a friend using Outlook to which I attach the document and then send it, i.e. the standard and traditional way of doing such tasks...

I now wonder if there might be any utility which can offer me drag and drop capability, meaning that I type in my friend's email address, once only, and then just drag the files I would like to be sent to my friend to a "short cut", a special folder or something along that line???

See File/Preferences, then Mail, Sending and Receiving, Check for new mail

Don't set it to 1 or 2 minutes, it's useless. For messages that urgent there is Skype. The default of 15 minutes is usually okay. By the way, I noticed that R8.5 signals much faster than the 15 minutes. If the mail doesn't appear immediately in the Inbox, the user might have to type the F9-key to refresh the Inbox.
