Question : your computer appears to be correctly configured but the device or resource (www.google.com) is not responding

When connected to network I am able to get access to the network but unable to get access to the internet.
I keep getting this message that my computer is configured correctly but the device or resource is not responding.  This is only happening to computer with Windows 7 on them.  All other computer can get access to the network and get to the internet.  Thanks in advance for your assistance.

It turns out that we had an extra firewall on the network that had the same IP as our actual firewall.  We found an 4 port firewall in a box in the server room and it looked like a regular 4 port switch, so we had it plugged in one of the conference rooms.  As soon as it was unplugged all of the Windows 7 and Vista machines worked normally.
