Question : sendmail installation error

i am in the process of setting up sendmail and im getting this error
using mandriva 2010
[root@localhost sendmail-8.14.3]# echo "localhost" >> /etc/mail/local-host-names
[root@localhost sendmail-8.14.3]# /usr/sbin/sendmail -v -bi
WARNING: local host name (localhost) is not qualified; see cf/README: WHO AM I?
Cannot rebuild aliases: no database format defined
Cannot create database for alias file /etc/mail/aliases
im sure its DB thing , installed db4 from control center....im sure im missing a package or so!
