Question : Question about Exchange 2010 mailbox move.

I'm migrating an Exchange 2007 Server to Exchange 2010. This is my first 2010 Server and I am puzzle because I can move mailboxes with 2010 server management console but the mailbox move fails the  with the 2007 console, is this normal?

Error occurred in the step: Opening destination mailbox. Failed to open mailbox with error: An unknown error has occurred., error code: -1056749262

As a general rule of thumb you should always initiate the move mailbox request from the newest version of Exchange installed.

That is because the newer version is aware of the older one but the opposite is not true.
