Question : Exchange 2010 refusing SMTP port 25 connections

this is a new server 2008/exchange 2010 default install.  I have a pinhole in my netopia DSL modem sending port 25 traffic to my server on 192.168.0.5.  I cannot telnet to the server on port 25 and all of my SMTP tests report that the server refused the connection.  I have checked my firewall and there is an inbound rule for port 25.

I have done very little (only the basics in Exchange) so I know I'm missing something.  Where can I look to make sure my server is set to receive port 25 inbound messages?

thanks

Answer : Exchange 2010 refusing SMTP port 25 connections

Check your receive connector under the Hub Transport heading in the Server Configuration. You will also need to setup a send connector under the Hub Transport heading in the Organization configuration. Then check your Windows 2008 server firewall that you are allowing SMTP 25 traffic on the correct profile. For testing allow all the profiles.
