Question : Quickbooks 2010 QB crashes when trying to print to network printer

System with 2 Vista PCs running QB 2008 was working fine when printing to an HP all in one that is connected via network.

they moved to 4 PCs (1 Win 7 desktop acting as server and 1 new Win 7 desktop and the other 2 Vista machines) when they installed qb 2010 premier.  now, most times, when they print to that 1 network printer, quickbooks crashes.  printing to another network printer works fine.  When it crashes, they reopen qb and print and it works fine.

Answer : Quickbooks 2010 QB crashes when trying to print to network printer

The QBWinstance Handle error is one that Intuit has not yet properly acknowledged or fixed. Please do add your voice and contact Intuit support about this.

Make sure QB is fully patched. Where I am, the latest revision is R4 and includes a revised printer DLL that was causing problems (for me at least).

Try new printer drivers for the printer that is causing problems.

It looks (above) as if you have more that one QBW file. I have found it is best to close a file and then exit QuickBooks completely before opening a new file.

These are all workarounds in my opinion, but it is how I have to use QuickBooks on Windows 7.
