Question : mssql issues with 10.50.1600  & 10.00.1600

Ok my laptop i am running 10.00.1600 and on my desktop i have 10.00.1600. I just received the following error message.  I need to regularly install backups between the machines. What are my best options.

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: The database was backed up on a server running version 10.50.1600. That version is incompatible with this server, which is running version 10.00.1600. Either restore the database on a server that supports the backup, or use a backup that is compatible with this server. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)

Seems like you are trying to Restore database backup taken from SQL Server 2008 R2 into SQL Server 2008 machine and hence obtaining the error..
Since you can't restore database backups from later versions into older versions of instances, use Database Publishing Wizard to create the script of your entire database and run this script in the server which you are trying to restore.
