Question : Cannot mount mailbox database in Exchange 2010.
Out Exchange 2010 database was running just fine until we decommissioned our Exchange 2007 server and restarted the services on our 2010 machine. Now when I try to mount the database, I get the error:
Cannot process argument transformation on parameter 'Identity'. Cannot convert value "G:\Mailbox\Mailbox Database.edb" to type "Microsoft.Exchange.Config
uration.Ta

ter". Error: "'G:\Mailbox\Mailbox Database.edb' is not a valid value for the identity.
Parameter name: Identity"

I've already tried an eseutil /p with no difference.
Ideas?
Thank you
Answer : Cannot mount mailbox database in Exchange 2010.
We figured it out. Ran setup /prepareschema, setup /preparead again and rebooted our domain controller. I was able to remount the store at this point.
Thanks for the help
